Cleburne's Division
Cleburne's Division 2012 Calendar

We welcome everyone to consider the National and local events that Cleburne's Division and it's member units are involved in for 2012. This is an exciting year.

Later in the year we will move back up to North Mississippi to reenact more of the campaign which followed the Battle of Shiloh. Mayor Dale Fortenberry and the Farmington Hertiage Committee will be sponsoring the Blue Gray Alliance 150th Anniversary Battles of Farminton/Corinth. Mayor Fortenberry and the Farmington Heritage Committee are gracious hosts and have a rewarding event planned. We are proud to partner with these fine folks from Farmington and invite all who are able to attend the event. Go to www.battleoffarmington.com for more information. The event dates are September 13-16, 2012.

October will mark the second National level Blue Gray Alliance event for 2012. The 150th Anniversary Battles of Vicksburg/Raymond will occur October 19-21, 2012. This will quite possibly be the last event that will be held on this hollowed ground and promises to be another rewarding 150th Anniversary event. Roger Hansen and the Friends of Raymond have been working hard over the last year to prepare the event site and will continue to do so right up to October. visit www.friendsofraymond.org for more information.

Finally, we will wrap up the year with a fine local event Northwest of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area at historic Fort Richardson in Jacksboro, Texas. Cleburne's member units, Key's Battery and the 15th Texas Cavalry give a fine Texas welcome to all units who are able to participate. Fort Richardson is stepped in history and the park maintains some magnificent original structures on the property. Anyone interested in attending can contact Wes Thorne at sw122789@yahoo.com for more information or go to the Event Schedule page on this website for more details.

We have a busy year planned. There are numerous events besides these that our membership will enjoy and attend during the year. We encourage all Cleburne's members to support each other and let's make this 150th Anniversary Cycle one to remember.
