Cleburne’s Division Regulation for Dress Parade

{The Dress Parade regulation below is taken, verbatim, from the Regulations for the Army of the Confederate States of 1863. For reenacting purposes, Cleburne’s modifies the third from last paragraph as follows:
    “The officers will then salute the commanding officer by raising the hand to the cap, and there remain until he shall have communicated to them such instructions as he may have to give, or intimates that the ceremony is finished. As the officers disperse, the First Sergeants will close the ranks of their respective companies, and place them at rest until the company commanders return to take charge of their respective companies.”}
